During his years at the Technical University Berlin and the University of the Arts, Chris he was able to immerse himself into the daily routine at several architectural firms such as Modersohn & Freiesleben in Berlin as well as with Coburn Architecture and Halsted Wells Associates in New York City. As a freelancer, he worked for several film
and art projects. In cooperation with Karim El-Ishmawi, he received awards for film and architectural design contest entries focusing on experimental urban design and futuristic visions.
