Mr. Growald was a partner at Emmy Building Company, one of the largest home developers in the New York area. During his tenure, he led site selection, oversaw construction and sales, designed 3D elevations using computer-aided design technologies and managed hundreds of employees and sub-contractors.
Mr. Groward earned a BFA and Teaching
Certificate from Temple University and honorably served two years in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Prior to Emmy Building Company, Mr. Growald developed and managed tennis court facilities and was a professional tennis player, playing and teaching some of the top tennis professionals in the world including John McEnroe.
He currently resides in Florida and donates his time to several oversight committees as a consultant to the Director of the City of Miami Beach Department of Parks and Recreation. Mr. Growald has also served on both the Board of Directors and the Building Committee of Temple Emanu-El in Miami Beach, Florida.
