Cole is Co-Chairman of the Investment Banking Division (IBD), focusing Firmwide resources on clients and transactions that are of particular significance to the firm’s franchise. He is a member of the Management Committee and Finance Committee.
Previously, he was Global Co-Head of IBD. Cole served as Co-Head of the Financial Institutions Group
in IBD in 1998 and as sole Head from 1999 to 2001. He also served for one year as a Staff Assistant to the senior partners and worked in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets.
