Bringing extensive experience in healthcare contracting and human resource management, ApolloMD co-founder Christopher Durham oversees operations as Chairman of the group.
A graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Christopher Durham has been a licensed attorney since 1994 and has previously served as legal counsel for
corporations and individual physicians, dealing with such issues as compliance, risk management, contracts and collections. As President, Durham’s responsibilities include developing strategic direction and initiatives, overseeing business performance and operations, developing new opportunities and service lines, and developing and executing the business model development.
In 2009, Durham received the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his role in developing ApolloMD’s innovative business model which aligns provider incentives to optimize patient care and efficiency. Durham currently serves on the board for the American Heart Association and has been appointed to the Advisory Board for the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University.
