Prior to joining forces with the Teneo team, Charles spent 34 years with Nike Inc., retiring in January 2014 after serving as president of the Nike Brand for 13 years. At Nike Charles developed a deep expertise of the athletic consumer products industry, and he was instrumental in growing Nike to become one of
the world’s biggest brands. During his tenure as brand president, Charles helped grow Nike from $9.8 billion to more than $25 billion in global revenues. He has strong experience in advising athletes, corporations, and organizations on effective and efficient strategic growth strategies.
