Over the years he has held numerous leadership positions with civic organizations in South Carolina, including the Spartanburg County Foundation, the South
Carolina Historical Society, and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Caleb Fort has also given back through his support of the United Way of the Piedmont and by serving on the board of several academies and universities.
Professionally, Caleb Fort began his management career as a principal and sales manager with DuBard, Inc., a South Carolina-based distributor for Anheuser-Busch. In this role, he guided a team of 20 employees and spearheaded all sales and marketing efforts, ultimately helping the company earn Anheuser-Busch’s prestigious Silver Ambassador award.
After three successful years with DuBard, Caleb Fort accepted a position as co-chairman of The Merit Group, a supplier to the paint industry in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Over the next two decades, he worked closely with the company’s CEO to identify acquisition opportunities and supervise all general management operations.
Mr. Fort draws upon this experience in his current role as president of QMX Mobile Health, a provider of on-site diagnostic services in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Under his direction, the company has built a client base of hundred of nursing homes, assisted living centers, and hospice care facilities across the state.
