Bryan Edwards joined Crescendo in 2009 to lead and develop the company's in vitro antibody display platforms, drawing on expertise in development and use of antibody library techniques for use in antibody discovery and optimisation.
Bryan began his career at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, and joined Cambridge Antibody Technology
(later MedImmune) in 1996, where for 13 years he played a key role leading groups developing antibody library technologies and progressing projects.
This included management of the team delivering antibodies for the CAT collaboration with HGS, resulting in leads including BenLysta®, HGS-ETR1 and HGS-ETR2.
Bryan has a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Portsmouth and a PhD in Immunology from the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology.
