Mr. Johnson is and has been a commodity trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for over 40 years.
He has served as a member of the CME Group Inc. board of directors since 1998.
He had previously served as President, Director and part-owner of Packers Trading Company, a former futures commissions merchant/clearing firm at the CME
from 1969 to 2003.
In addition to Mr. Johnson’s exposure to the futures and capital markets, he has been an active investor for many decades in the agricultural and bio-waste industries.
He also serves on the board of directors of the Chicago Crime Commission.
Mr. Johnson received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Bradley University in 1965 and a Juris Doctorate in Law from John Marshall Law School in 1969.
