Brigitte Burkhard-Amhof grew up in the canton of Zug. After graduating from commercial school, she completed an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant. After spending two years in the finance department of a trading company, she switched to IT at a major Swiss bank, where she trained as an application developer. Due to an internal
change, she came into contact with the standard SAP software for the first time in 1992 and was subsequently involved in the introduction of the personnel module. During the preparation of the relevant user manual, she gained insight into the procedures and processes of personnel selection and administration. By moving to a multinational branded goods manufacturer, she proved herself as a project manager in the areas of SAP and electronic commerce. After founding her own IT consultancy, she supported a large number of customers throughout Switzerland and in various industries with the introduction of SAP. As a personnel consultant for permanent and temporary positions in the field of IT, Brigitte Burkhard brings her IT project experience from over 15 years of consulting work to the Art of Work. She is also responsible for strategy, projects and marketing.
