Brian brings more 13 years' experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors with Rogers Communications, Cityfone Telecommunications and Plus International. He was Director Operations for the Cityfone division of Rogers and oversaw its day-to-day operations. Prior to Rogers, Brian was the CFO & GM of Cityfone and helped grow the
company’s subscribers and revenue by 400%. In 2010 he oversaw the very successful exit of this MVNO reseller business to Rogers. At Plus he led the reverse takeover process and helped take this software developer public to facilitate a North American expansion plan. Mr. Simmers articled with KPMG LLP and is professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada and as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
