Brian is the CTO at BragBet and comes from a background of start ups and academia (research focus, pattern matching). Brian was the Principle Investigator of the CASALA research group in DkIT. Leading a R&D team of 10 to help create and commercialise IP in behaviour technology. Brian was principle engineer on CASALAs key project, which was a
finalist for Irish Engineering Project of the year 2011. He has worked in both academia (TRIL, UCD, head of software) and industry (large corporate consulting and start ups). During this time he has worked as a project manager, researcher and chief technical architect, on a variety of signal processing projects, including SmartGate the world first facial recognition border security clearance system at Sydney Airport.
Brian holds an honours degree from UCD (engineering 1995), and is currently undertaking a PhD in behaviour modeling at Queens University Belfast.
