BrianMurphy is the Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group. He has 17 years of private equity experience and 10 years of consulting experience. Throughout his career, he has partnered with management teams to support their efforts to drive performance improvement. Prior to joining Advent, Brian spent 15 years with Bain Capital’s portfolio
group in the US and Asia where, working with senior management, he led the post-acquisition efforts of numerous investments for the firm. Most recently, Brian was based in Hong Kong and was responsible for building Bain Capital’s Asia operating team. At the Barents Group, a subsidiary of KPMG, Brian led the firm’s efforts in Central Europe to provide transaction and restructuring advisory services participating in several transformative transactions in the region. Prior to this, he spent six years at Bain & Company and was involved in numerous performance improvement and strategy projects. Throughout his career, Brian has worked across a variety of industries and geographic markets including North America, Western & Central Europe and Asia.
