Brian M. Nelson, Esq. is the managing partner of Archer & Greiner’s Monmouth County office. Nelson specializes in representing public entities, publicly traded and private companies in legal, regulatory and governmental affairs matters in New Jersey. His public representations include serving as Township Attorney to the Township of Middletown,
Director of Law to the Borough of Tinton Falls, Special County Counsel to the County of Monmouth and other local government entities.
From 2008-2012, Nelson was managing partner of the law firm of Nelson Supko & Hanlon LLC. From 2005-2008, Nelson advised public, non-profit and private clients at Gibbons PC, principally on matters relating to redevelopment and economic development. He served on various statewide campaigns and as Executive Director of the New Jersey Republican State Committee in 2004. Nelson also practiced law at the Parker McCay firm and served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Bill Mathesius.
Nelson served on Governor Chris Christie’s Transition Team, as the New Jersey Counsel for Romney for President in 2008, and as a Commissioner on the Middletown Sewerage Authority. Nelson graduated magna cum laude and with program distinction in five semesters with a Bachelor Arts degree in Political Science from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1999 and earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Camden in 2002.
