Chief Brian LaFlure, is the Director and Fire Coordinator of the Warren County, New York, Office of Emergency Services, where he is responsible for all facets of emergency management throughout the county, including fire response, emergency medical services, Hazmat response, civil defense ,WMD, Mobile Communications vehicle response, first
responder training, and more. Chief LaFlure has over45 years of experience in the emergency services sector, and routinely supports state-wide and nation-wide initiatives, including the Department of Homeland Security’s First Responder Electronic Jamming Exercise initiatives. He founded, and is the Chairman of the Adirondack Regional Interoperable Communications Consortium , which now coordinates communications across 14 counties, over 35% of the area of New York State. Chief LaFlure also currently serves on New York State Interoperable Communications Board, and the working group providing advice to the Governor of New York on FirstNet participation.
