Brevan Canning is Executive Vice President and Group Head, Benefit Solutions for People Corporation. In this position Mr. Canning is the leader of the Company’s third party administration business which includes Sirius Benefits, HealthSource Plus, Benefit Plan Administrators, Coughlin & Associates, Les Assurance and BHL divisions of the
Company. Mr. Canning previously held the position of VP, Finance for People Corporation where he was responsible for external financial reporting, regulatory compliance, management information systems, financial planning, client services, and risk management.
Prior to joining People Corporation, Mr. Canning held Corporate Development roles at both CanWest Global Communications and, prior to that, at Band-X Ltd., both of which provided him significant international financial and accounting experience. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science degree, a graduate from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Certified General Accountant.
