Brent L. Shaw is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and lifelong weather enthusiast. Brent joined WDT in 2007, where he now leads the development of complex meteorological systems for a wide variety of clients and applications around the world.
He earned an Air Force commission in 1990 and subsequently served as a weather officer in the USAF from
1991 to 2004.
During this time he provided operational meteorological support to two fighter wings, served as the Meteorological Satellite Programs Manger for the Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA), and developed numerous applications within AFWA’s Meteorological Models Branch and Technology Exploitation Branch.

Certified Consulting Meteorologist. Master of Science, Atmospheric Science, Colorado State University. Bachelor of Science, Atmospheric Science, University of Kansas.
