Brandon joined 3DR in 2012 as a software engineer and is currently the VP of Engineering. Over the past three years, he has shipped over ten consumer hardware and software UAV products, including ground control stations, autopilots, vehicles, and APIs for drone application development. Most recent, Brandon led engineering on Solo and Site Scan -
consumer and enterprise drones. Brandon has worked closely with academic and open source communities, including Dronecode under the Linux Foundation.
Prior to 3DR, Brandon earned his PhD at UC Berkeley in control theory in 2012 and worked on fixed-wing UAV control and task allocation with Karl Hedrick.
