Brad serves as the director of operations for HORNE Cyber. He guides clients to fully leverage technology innovations by providing the insights critical to safeguarding their business, customers’ critical data, and brand reputation. Brad is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned his degree in agribusiness and economics, and also
completed an internship with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. After graduation, Brad worked for the United States Senate, where he served as a professional staff member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, subcommittee on energy and water development. While on the committee staff, he co-wrote legislation outlining spending of $32 billion annually, and had oversight responsibilities of previous year funding for the Department of Energy and the Army Corps of Engineers, including cyber readiness of our nation’s critical assets. After leaving the Senate, he joined Federal Solutions, LLC as a lobbyist and co-founded Halberd Group, LLC. The Halberd Group specialized in offensive cybersecurity and digital forensics. In 2015, Halberd Group, now known as HORNE Cyber, was acquired by HORNE LLP.
