Qiu Bojun is the former Excutive Director, Chairman and CEO of Kingsoft, a software developing company offering web security, office software, entertainment software, cloud computing and online translation.
Bojun graduated from the National University of Defense Technology in 1984.
Bojun started his career at Beijing Stone in 1986. He joined the
Kong Kong Jinshan Company in 1988 and successfully developed the first word processing software, WPS.
In 1994, Bojun founded Zhuhai Kingsoft Computer Company and functioned as Chairman. He was appointed CEO in 2008. He retired from the company in 2011.
Bojun has received various honors, including one of the "Top Ten Annual Economic Figures of the Year", one of the "Top Ten IT People in China", “The Outstanding Entrepreneur in Gaming Industry” and “The Most Influential Figure in Gaming Industry"".
