Prior to joining Biosite, Anacone was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MediSpectra, a privately held medical device company developing proprietary optical detection technology for cancer and other human tissue abnormalities
Prior to MediSpectra, Anacone held senior marketing and sales positions at Perceptive Biosystems, Serono Diagnostics, Gene-Trak Systems and Hybritech Incorporated and held sales positions at Ortho Diagnostics, Abbott Laboratories and Squibb Pharmaceuticals.
Bob received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Hartford.
