Bindesh joined SWIP in November 2011 as Director of Risk, responsible for embedding a robust risk management framework within SWIP. His role covers a number of areas including Investment Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Risk, Governance and oversight responsibility for Legal Risk.
Prior to joining SWIP Bindesh was the Global Chief Risk Officer
for Aviva Investors where he spent 10 years developing and leading a number of risk management functions and supporting his Executive colleagues to shape and implement a global asset management strategy. Before Aviva, Bindesh worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management. He was responsible for a number of clients across the financial services industry, providing risk management advice and solutions.
Bindesh is a qualified accountant and graduated from the University of Westminster in 1989 with BA (Hons) in Business Management.
