Astrid Javier is principal designer and founder of Studio Astrid, a San Francisco-based agency providing product strategy & design for healthcare. A practicing UX/Product designer and strategist since 2000, Astrid has deep expertise in rapid understanding of highly complex problems and development of strategies, solutions and roadmaps for
short-term and long-term resolution. Former clients included Fortune 500 companies and startups across a diversity of verticals - healthcare, finance, ecommerce, education, new and emerging technologies.
As of 2018, Astrid has focused her work exclusively in healthcare, leading design of new digital products/solutions for healthcare providers and patient in cardiac surgery, pharmacy, mental health and wellness, and sexual and reproductive health.
In addition to managing her own consultancy, she has served as Head of Design at Legion Techologies and Head of Product Design at Nurx, and advises healthcare startups in research, product development, strategy and design.
