Ashok Gupta brings over 30+ years experience in manufacturing, process and design engineering in Semiconductor, Active and passive components and computer/peripheral manufacturing blue chip companies such as Applied Materials, Segate, JDS Uniphase , KLA Tencore, Uptron, Momenta, EFI, ACER etc. He has direct experience in building new emerging
growth companies from inception to growth. He served as a Managing Director at ARASOR for their Asia-Pacific Operation before Co-founding Ultrasolar Technology. He is a co-inventor of two patents in solar PV industry. He has B.Sc (Physics), B.S (EE) IIT Roorkee, P.G.D.B.A (Operation Mgt) and M.B.A (OSU,USA).
He is a member of founding team of several companies such as UPTRON (India) in the area of Electronic Components, Glopax(USA) in the area of B to B infrastructure, ARAMAX(a communication Equipment company), Optipex(USA) in the area of optical components, Mixyn(USA)-a social networking company, HBC Media inc and ONIRBAN Network- a WI-Max company.
