Art was appointed Pentec's Chief Financial Officer in August, 2009, responsible for the financial operations of the company. In his role as CFO, Mr. Rea brings to bear significant and diversified financial and operational acumen. During his career, Art has held a variety of financial, accounting and general management positions in both the
public and private arenas.
Prior to joining Pentec, Art enjoyed a sixteen year tenure with Electric Mobility Corporation, a medical device manufacturer. During his employment with EMC he held both the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer positions. Additional experience includes roles in Business Development, Merger and Acquisitions, Finance and Audit with NutriSystem Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rea was responsible for conducting financial and operational audits for the North American units of Kraft Inc.
Art received his BS in Business Administration from Drexel University and his MBA in Finance from Temple. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds position of North Atlantic Director for Financial Executives International following two year role as President of the Philadelphia Chapter.
Art and his wife Sharon are residents of Southern New Jersey and are the parents of two children, Mathew and James.
