Arnold Amon Shoko is the Co-Founder and CEO of Lima Africa, a circular agritech company transforming organic waste into regenerative fertilizer and insect protein to make farming profitable for smallholder farmers. With a background in marine science and sustainable food systems (Msc), Arnold brings over a decade of experience designing circular
economy models that link waste management with agricultural productivity. He has led Lima Africa’s growth from a pilot concept to an operational enterprise serving over 1,200 farmers across Tanzania through its Input–Market–Protection (IMP) model—which bundles input credit, market access, and climate insurance to de-risk smallholder farming. Arnold’s leadership focuses on scaling climate-smart innovation that restores soil health, reduces emissions, and builds rural livelihoods. A 2025 Mandela Washington Fellow, he has collaborated with partners, including Enabel andRikolto, to advance regenerative and inclusive agricultural solutions across Africa.
