Subhan is the chief biomedical engineer for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. He has over 25 years of clinical engineering experience in both public and private sectors. He previously served as chief biomedical engineer at VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System and South Texas Veterans Health Care System. He was the senior clinical
engineer at Masterplan (now Aramark), an independent service organization that managed medical equipment across the United States. He is a columnist on CCE examination topics and has served as the chair, USCC; chair, Education Committee, ACCE; board member at large, ACCE and co-chair, AAMI Annual Conference Program Committee. He is the recipient of the 2013 ACCE Professional Development/Managerial Excellence Award and the 2012 AAMI Clinical/Biomedical Engineering Achievement Award
