Arati Davis, Vice President Sweden India Business Council (SIBC). With SIBC, Arati is involved with the Sweden India smart city space, facilitating engagement within the areas of clean technology and strategy engagement, with a focus on SMEs. The work within smart cities and clean technologies is carried out in partnership with Government Agencies,
but also with private sector actors and SIBC members. Arati has been working with environment, energy and sustainability issues for the last 18 years. This has included working with issues of energy law with Kirkland & Ellis, Washington D.C., The Energy Resources Institute, and Oxfam. Within the Sweden India Corridor, Arati has worked as National Advisor for Energy & Environment, Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi as well as working with Sida on Partner Based Cooperation. Arati holds a MSc. in Natural Resource Management and B.A. in International Political Economy from SOAS, University of London, London School of Economics, and Swarthmore College, USA.
