In 2011 I came to the USA to pursue my college degree with $150. Dad said it was enough to get started with life in the USA, I guess that was when I entered in the school of life. Facing many hardships, I was kicked out of college in April 2014 because I had tuition debts of $14,000.

With $40 and no experience I went to Walmart and bought

cleaning supplies. The next day I started walking along the streets of Ruston with the mop bucket, and brooms hanging on my back since I did not have a car, to clean offices and houses.

It was my innovative way of starting a job which could help me generate enough income to to return to college. Not being able to find a job encouraged me to create one.

In 2016 I successfully paid off my tuition debts with money I saved from providing cleaning services. I was able to re-enroll in class and in august 2018 graduated with bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LATECH.

Over the years, I have learned that the way to excellence is full of obstacles and that no failure is final. Obstacles and failures gave me an opportunity to do better in life. It helped me to think out of the box and to get out of my comfort zone.

SOME AWARDS I RECEIVED: • The Louisiana Tech Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, in 2015 by Jones Walker Law LLP. • Young business Leader of the year 2020 by the Ruston-Lincoln chamber of commerce in 2020. • I was invited on Fox TV in February 2020 to share my story. Certificate of special congressional recognition from the USA congress for outstanding community service in 2021
