A.J. Nash, Founder & CEO of Unspoken Security, LLC, is an intelligence strategist & public speaker focused on building intelligence programs that capitalize on disparate data and information to create & deliver tactical, operational, & strategic intelligence to protect personnel, facilities, data, & information systems. He has
planned, designed, built, or consulted on the building & maturation of cyber intelligence programs for dozens of companies. A.J. provides training on intelligence tradecraft & standards, consults with clients creating or improving their intelligence capabilities, assists in the creation of organization-specific intelligence requirements, & delivers presentations on leadership, intelligence, security, threats, & risks.
AJ honed his skills across 19 years of military service & defense contracting, serving in roles focused on intelligence collection, analysis, reporting, & briefing. His career included near real-time intelligence collection & reporting in support of combat operations in multiple areas of operations (AORs), indications & warning (I&W), tracking war criminals, battling human trafficking, countering improvised explosive device (IED) production & deployment, & combating nation-state, criminal, & hacktivist threats in cyberspace. A.J.'s work has been delivered to military & government decision-makers, including intelligence agency Senior Executives and Directors, the U.S. Secretary of State, Congress, & the White House. Although now in the private sector full-time, A.J. still occasionally consults within the intelligence community & maintains a Top Secret clearance with a full-scope polygraph. Since moving into the private sector in late 2015, A.J. has spoken at conferences & events around the world, regularly contributed to online & print publications dedicated to intelligence, security & Servant Leadership, been invited to speak on those topics in podcasts, webinars, & traditional media, consulted on the changing security & intelligence business landscape, & launched the award winning Unspoken Security podcast…which eventually led to his founding Unspoken Security, LLC.
AJ holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Communications Applications Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior University, & both a Graduate Certificate in Servant Leadership & a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
