Anne Stetson is an international lawyer and impact investor. She is president of Lighthouse Global Consulting, a strategic advisory firm to nonprofits and foundations working to address issues related to global poverty. Ms. Stetson is also a senior fellow and visiting scientist at Harvard University's FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at

the School of Public Health, where she teaches on social entrepreneurship in global health and directs a program on human trafficking. As an impact investing pioneer, Ms. Stetson has developed impact investments, co-founded an impact investing advisory firm, and advocated in writing and speaking for the field. For the first decade of her career, Ms. Stetson practiced international corporate and emerging markets investment law on Wall Street and in Boston with Fidelity Investments and Grantham, Mayo, van Otterloo.

Ms. Stetson serves as a director of Accion, Confluence Philanthropy, the John Merck Fund, and the Lookout Foundation. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has published articles and books in the areas of impact investing, emerging markets investing and human rights.

Ms. Stetson holds a BA in English literature from Yale University, a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a JD from Boston University. She also studied at Columbia Law School.
