A graduate of Edinburgh University with degrees in Intelligent Knowledge-Based Systems and in Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence, Angus has worked at technology startups in Italy, Belgium and the United Kingdom. In 1996, he joined Sony Computer Science Laboratory in Paris as a researcher, developing simulation tools for studies in evolutionary
communications. Since moving to the United States, he has returned to the startup space, working in online video (VMS, Blip.tv) and financial technology (Edge Research Technologies LLC).
