Aneesh Rajaram is the CEO of Vewd and a true pioneer in streaming television. Aneesh has led Vewd from its official inception in 2013 as the TV division of Opera Software. Under his leadership, Vewd has generated consistent, profitable growth. Over six years from 2013 to 2018, Vewd launched a portfolio of leading streaming software products and
achieved rapid global customer expansion. At the end of 2016, Vewd had already quadrupled its enterprise value within Opera Software, culminating in a majority acquisition by Moore Frères & Company.
Prior to leading Vewd, Aneesh held a number of senior roles in global sales, business development, product management and marketing, working with his colleagues at Opera to power the world's first capable streaming device, the Nintendo Wii, and the world’s first smart TV, the Philips Net TV.
Aneesh earned an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore, India and an MBA from London Business School. In 2016, Norway's largest digital publisher E24, awarded Aneesh the grand prize of Norway’s Leader of the Year as well as Digital Innovator of the Year.
