Mr. Choi is Vice President of Research and Development with over 15 years of engineering experience.
Prior to joining VertiFlex, he spent eight years with Stryker Orthopedics and Stryker Spine where he led the development of their flagship pedicle screw and complex deformity systems.
Mr. Choi later became a marketing leader at Stryker in
charge of their MIS marketing and new technologies. Mr. Choi also held various engineering positions at Bookham Technology, Applied Biosystems and Space System/Loral.
In his first year at VertiFlex, Mr. Choi has been instrumental in the development of two new product systems to further address the needs within the spine growth markets.
Mr. Choi’s academic credentials include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
Mr. Choi currently oversees the company’s research and development projects.
