Having spent my entire childhood moving from city to city every two to three years, I quickly grew accustomed to life on the road and the excitement of discovering a new destination. My father's profession took my family and me from my birthplace of Charleston, SC to all over the Southern United States, Australia, and eventually sunny Southern
California. I count myself fortunate to have had so many experiences so early on in life. Having now lived on three continents and ventured all over, travel is truly a part of me.
Earning my Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and spending my early professional life with a well known Italian sportswear label, I knew that fashion and business were the perfect marriage of my skills and interests. An Avenue Apart is the culmination of many years spent brainstorming (mostly while traveling) with my close friend, Todd Bliwise. I am excited to bring our love of travel and unique approach to online shopping to the world!
