Andy Fogwill graduated from the Center for Experimental Cinematography in Buenos Aires, rounding out his education by studying Communication, Script Writing, Aesthetics and Music at the University of Buenos Aires.
In 1993 Andy Fogwill began producing and directing music videos. Completing more than 50 videos for Latin America’s top rock bands,
including award-winning videos for artists like Illya Kuriaki and Gustavo Cerati.
In 2000 founded the production company LANDIA, with offices in Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and Madrid. LANDIA has distinguished itself as modern and innovative and became one of the busiest advertising production companies of IberoAmerica.
Andy Fogwill’s work as a director has been recognized in the main advertising and design festivals around the world, and he won over a hundred awards. Between others, Andy has been voted the “Best IberoAmerican Director” for 4 years running as a result of his recent performance at worldwide festivals. Also, the Gunn Report positioned him as the World’s Second Most Awarded Director for 2006 and 2007.
In 2008 and 2009 LANDIA has been recognized in the Cannes Lions Festival among the 10 most successful production companies of the festival. In 2008 Andy was awarded by the Jerry Goldenberg Award for Best Director of Advertising Film. In 2010, for the 7th consecutive year, LANDIA was voted the best production company of Argentina, in the Jerry Goldenberg Awards.
