Andrew Stalbow is co-founder and CEO at Seriously, a company creating mobile games designed to be developed into entertainment properties. The business development and marketing functions for Seriously are based in Los Angeles, while the game studio is based in Helsinki, Finland. More on Seriously.
Previously, Stalbow was EVP Strategic Partnerships at Rovio Entertainment where he was responsible for commercial strategy and the company's biggest partnership and animation distribution deals. Examples include negotiating with Lucasfilm for 'Angry Birds Star Wars' and launching Rovio's first animated series - 'Angry Birds Toons' - by building a video distribution and channel business within Rovio's games.
Before Rovio, Stalbow ran 20th Century Fox's mobile division where he commercialized the studio's film and television properties. Examples include working with the creative team at Gracie Films, and negotiating with Electronic Arts, to launch 'The Simpsons Tapped Out', a top grossing mobile game, and making James Cameron's 'Avatar' movie available as a pre-load as part of a launch marketing program for Samsung's first Galaxy S smartphone.
Andrew lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
