Dr. Andrew Koon, MD FACP is the Chief Medical Officer for MedDiary. He is responsible for ensuring that the product design and business strategy remain patient-centered. Dr. Koon is a practicing Internal Medicine physician with over 12 years of clinic experience in both academic and community based settings as a Hospitalist. In 2005, his
involvement as a physician champion for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s initiative for Transforming Care at the Bedside made an indelible impression on his practice of medicine. This program emphasized the active engagement of patients and their providers with patient-centered care practices and the coordination of care. Dr. Koon’s passion for best practices in Internal Medicine and patient-centered care with coordination of providers has fueled his desire to see innovations in the digital health space. Dr. Koon has a MD from the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
