Andrei Lushin has been serving as the Executive Director for EDS23 (the Russian Federation) at the World Bank Group since November of 2014. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Budget Committee and a member of the Ethics Committee under the Board of Executive Directors.
Previously, from 1997 to 2014, Mr. Lushin served as Alternate Executive Director
for Russia at the International Monetary Fund. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1997, Mr. Lushin worked in different positions at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the USSR/Russian Academy of Sciences.
Mr. Lushin holds a Ph.D in Econometrics (1986) and a Masters Degree in Economics (1978). He was a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics in 1993.
