Andreas’ entrepreneurial track-record includes building two of Europe’s leading alternative asset management companies, specialized in the areas of private equity, hedge funds, commodities, infrastructure and insurance-linked securities. As a partner at RMF Investment Group, Andreas was instrumental in growing the firm from $1 billion in assets
under management in 1999 to over $10 billion within three years, leading up to the acquisition of RMF by Man Group plc for $833 million in May 2002. At Man Group, Andreas served as a Member of the Management Committee and a Member of the Investment Committee.
Later, Andreas left to become a partner in the start-up company Horizon21, which he helped grow to $14 billion in assets under management in just 4 years of operation. Andreas was Head of Product Development, Member of the Management Committee and led the company’s expansion into Asia.
After selling his interest in Horizon21 in June 2008, Andreas moved to Singapore to focus on private equity opportunities in Southeast Asia, and established Fiducia Asset Management, an investment boutique lodged with the Monetary Authority of Singapore as Exempt Fund Manager and Exempt Financial Advisor. Andreas Ritzi holds a MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and a MSc in Finance from the London Business School, UK.
