André Dessureault is Vice-President, Specialized Investment Services, for Desjardins Venture Capital. In this capacity, he oversees investment-related services for various managed funds, including Desjardins Capital régional et coopératif. More specifically, he is responsible for due diligence, valuation, taxation, market analysis and the legal
aspect of investment transactions. Formerly, he had served as Director, Legal Affairs, Investments, since 2002.
André has more than 20 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as in financing for Québec enterprises, having originally worked at private law firms between 1987 and 1994 before focusing on a venture capital fund between 1995 and 2002. André was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1987 after earning a bachelor's degree in law from Québec City's Université Laval.
