Amar is an experienced entrepreneur having started, grown and sold businesses in clean tech/web.
He began his career launching engineered products in the margin-squeezing global automotive industry, leaving him forever vigilant on reducing operating costs to allow for profitability. He incubated his fascination for data while working in the
investment management industry where the use of data analytics regularly led to billion dollar decisions.
Over the last 5 years Amar has focused on developing and incubating technology organizations from various vantage points: launching 2 companies, taking a board seat on a technology non-profit, assisting nascent teams to turn a vision into a company.
He studied mechanical engineering at Berkeley and received an MBA from Columbia.
