Amanda J. Dittmar is an intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law, including litigating, prosecuting, counseling, and licensing on patent, copyright, and trademark law for clients in a variety of technical fields, including software, electronics, mechanical devices, medical devices, and
chemical technologies. Amanda currently heads the patent department for Viavi Solutions’ optical security and performance products division (“OSP”). The division specializes in a wide-range of technologies, including miniature spectrometers, optical filters, custom color solutions, security pigments for currency in over 100 nations, brand protection, and security threads. She develops and implements strategies for the patent portfolios of each of these subdivisions. She also advises on mergers, acquisitions, and investment transactions.
