Allan joined Wyman Harris Research in 1983 and took majority ownership of the company in 1987. In the same year the company acquired Dillon Computing.
A specialist in data collection and analysis, initially in the area of transportation and economic modelling, Allan widened the scope over the years to focus on market research and direct marketing
projects, for clients in both the public and private sectors.
He has considerable professional qualifications and memberships including a BSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Highways and Transportation Planning, Member of the Chartered Institute of Engineering, Full Member of MRS and Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing.
Allan is still involved in the running of the business, but increasingly has a more consultative role, adding expertise where needed.
