Alexis Bonte is a co-founder and CEO of eRepublik Labs, a Romanian company specialized in developing multiplayer gaming worlds for strategy gamers.
Prior to eRepublik, Bonte was with lastminute.com for 6 years, right up to its $1billion trade sale to Sabre in 2005.
Bonte is also the non-executive chairman of trilulilu.ro, a video and music-centered online community also known as the Romanian Youtube.
Bonte is a recognized speaker and panelist of CEBIT, La Red Innova, Games Gone Wild, Gamelab, Interactive Entertainment Summit, FICOD, GDC Europe, and more. He also served as a guest lecturer on internet startups and online games at several universities.
Bonte holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and languages from the European Business School in London.
Bonte is a sailing national champion in Portugal and was selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) in 2012 by the World Economic Forum.
