Mr. Mackenzie joined Exa in February of 2008 as Vice President Product Management. Previously, he held the position of VP, Product Management with Parametric Technology Corporation [PTC], where he started as a software engineer and was quickly promoted to eventually hold six vice president-level roles. Mackenzie was responsible for evolving
PTC's product planning to be customer business process-driven, has brought several new applications to market, led acquisitions from strategy to integration as well as managed R&D, QA and product management groups.
Mr. Mackenzie holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a management minor from the University of London's Imperial College in the United Kingdom.
