Aldo Isi is a manager and engineer with over 20 years of experience in the transport industry. Since 23 December 2021, he has been Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Anas, a company belonging to the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. Born in Parma in 1971, Aldo Isi graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Parma. In 2009
he obtained a Master in Industrial Maintenance Management. His professional career began in Bologna in 1999, when he joined Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group to serve as Designer and Works Supervisor in the Superstructure and Civil Engineering section of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana S.p.A. Subsequently, he took on several positions of increasing responsibility at RFI S.p.A., first in the Civil Engineering division and then in the Security division. In 2009 he was appointed Head of the Regional Unit of Emilia - Maintenance and Operation. Two years later, Aldo Isi took on the role of Head of the Regional Production Department of Bologna, a position he held until 2014, when he became Head of the Regional Production Department of Milan. On the strength of the many skills he acquired over the years, in 2016 he rose to the position of Director of Investments of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana in Rome. During this working experience, he was in charge of managing the decision-making process connected to the cycle of investing, as well as of designing, building and implementing all new conventional or high-speed railway lines, stations and rolling stock maintenance systems. He was also in charge of upgrading the existing infrastructure and the technological equipment. In 2018 Aldo Isi became Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Italferr S.p.A., an engineering company belonging to the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. After three years, he joined Anas to serve as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager.
