Alberto Munoz is an experienced leader in athletic and academic programs for high school students. As a teacher of both Spanish and English, he has helped write and implement district-approved curriculum plans and guided first-time learners to language proficiency. He also has a prolific career in coaching high school football and soccer, and he

has help lead high school teams to reach state championship games twice. He has also given numerous presentations on optimal coaching techniques, and he continues his own education through Coaching School run by the Texas High School Coaches Association.


Alberto graduated from St. Mary’s University, where he was active on campus in various ways. He became the president of his fraternity and now continues to represent his school and various organizations as a member of St. Mary’s Alumni Association. Always looking for ways to help young people succeed, he helps coordinate events on campus which raise funds for scholarship opportunities.



Alberto also received higher education at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He earned a Master of Education in Educational Administration and hopes to further his career experience in academia. Alberto received his principal certification through Lamar University as well and is currently a certified teacher in English and Spanish at the secondary level, grades 6-12.



In addition to school-related activities, Alberto is a member of numerous nonprofit organizations and initiatives. He is a member of celebrated Catholic nonprofit Knights of Columbus, which holds philanthropic events and lobbies for the Catholic Church. He also directs the Joey Munoz Memorial 5K Run, an annual race held in honor of his brother’s memory.



Alberto is passionate about outdoor activities, health, and fitness, which is why he spends so much time helping student athletes make the most of their talents.
