Currently on assignments in Europe within the Travel & Hospitality sector, Alan provides operations support and interim leadership for organisations wishing to maximise revenue opportunity and improve levels of customer satisfaction. Key activities include; operational efficiency reviews, call-centre sales and service diagnostics, relocation or
consolidation and start-up support. He provides industry expertise and valuable management skills to teams during times of development and change. Recent assignments include projects at lastminute.com, Sabre pl, Premier Inn, Jurys Inns and fastbooking.com, Holiday Autos and a number of independent hotel companies in France, Belgium and Spain.
His earlier appointments include a noteable career at Utell Hotels & Pegasus and he has collaborated with the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) providing mentoring to individuals as part of the Creative Pioneers Programme. He also served as Non-Executive Board member of LikeCube®, an innovative technology company now part of the TimeOut Group. Alan is a Fellow at The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
