Adam Sacharowitz is the co-founder, with Chad Etkind, of Zaiq, an AI engineering studio in Johannesburg, South Africa. Zaiq's promise is simple: bring the problem, we engineer the fix. Adam is an Information Engineering student at the University of the Witwatersrand and completed his IEB matric at King David Schools with an 86% aggregate and 5 distinctions. He has completed a six-week AI and software engineering internship at Global Micro Solutions, a Microsoft Solutions Partner working across Azure, Microsoft 365 and agentic AI.
At Zaiq he has shipped a range of production AI systems: an AI-Search Growth System that tracks and engineers a business's ranking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity; an AI Visibility Audit; a Campaign Engine validated on 28 of South Africa's top restaurants; a multi-model AI Workstation fusing five frontier models with private local ones; Explorable AI Worlds rendered in real-time WebGL; and a Video Pipeline that ships cited, captioned short-form episodes from a single command, with 27 episodes completed.
