Before joining Barclaycard Adam spent 10 years working as a Corporate Innovation consultant, helping large companies in the finance and energy sectors design, set-up and run new businesses. Adam also ran his own manufacturing business helping small to medium sized UK manufacturers produce components in China.
Adam joined Barclaycard in 2012 to
set-up a contactless taskforce with Visa, which aimed to accelerate UK contactless growth and implement an industry-wide limit increase. Following the taskforce he then became the cross-Barclays Programme Manager for the roll-out of contactless on TfL, which has since seen 8m users since launch.
In March 2015, Adam became the Product and Distribution Director for Barclaycard Digital Consumer Payments, launching the bPay range of wearables into market, and establishing a range of partnerships including ‘Top Shop x bPay’. Adam completed the CFA certification, and holds a degree in Management Science and Marketing from Manchester University.
